Day 3 - The A635 to The White House Inn on the A58

Sadly we are without Toby today.   He's tired, so having a day off!!

A fab start to the day with wall to wall sunshine reflecting off  the Wessenden  Reservoir.
What a difference a day makes!

As we continued up along Blakley Clough, we didn't see a soul!

Sharon enjoying a decent path for once at the top of the moor

Total contrast from crossing the silent moorland to the noise of the M62.
Loads of cars sounded their horns as we crossed the Pennine Way footbridge to cheer us on!

Loads of reservoirs along this section. We counted 7 in total which made for some spectacular scenery!

Just one more hill to climb, and then down, and then back home to base camp for the day

Our final decent takes us on an old roman road with a 600 year old way marker called
The Aiggin Stone.  Its then on to the White House Inn, and back to base camp for a chicken dinner lovingly cooked by Sherpa Frankie.

What a fantastic day!!!
